On Thursday 24th June 2010, the NIAA Grants Committee met to consider the first round of 2010 applications for funding on behalf of The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland (AAGBI)& Anaesthesia, The Anaesthetic Research Society,British Journal Anaesthesia & The Royal College of Anaesthetists, The Obstetric Anaesthetists' Association, Society for Education in Aanesthesia UK and The Vascular Anaesthesia Society of Great Britain & Ireland.
We considered 31 applications over six catergories for a requested sum of £922,931 and made a total of 10 awards to a value of £296,613.
