Travel Grants and IRC Funding
The International Relations Committee (IRC) of the AAGBI Foundation considers applications for funding for projects usually, but not exclusively, in lower resourced countries. There are four categories of grants:

  • Travel Grants for Individuals
  • Project Grants
  • Volunteer and Out of Programme Experience Grants
  • SAFE Project Grants

The committee meets in January, May, July and October each year to consider applications, which must be received within the advertised timeframe to be considered.

The next IRC meeting applicants can submit a grant application to will be held in September 2018. The submission period is currently open to applications for travel taking place between 27 October 2018 and 27 February 2019. The deadline for these applications is 24 August 2018.

Please note applications are not considered retrospectively, so applications must be made in advance of travel so that a decision can be taken at the next available committee meeting.
