The Anaesthetic Research Society is pleased to be able to offer a Summer Student Scholarship for undergraduate students of medicine, science or dentistry to undertake research related to anaesthesia for up to 8 weeks during the summer. The award (£300 - £400 / week for up to 8 weeks) must be administered by the host institution and is to pay the student and cannot be used for research consumables.

Applications should be made by the proposed supervisor and the student. It will be necessary for the student to have been identified to apply for funding. The award is open to undergraduate medical students in the UK only. It is a condition of the award that the work is presented at a meeting of the Anaesthetic Research Society following completion.
